Epson SureColor F2270 Standard Edition Printer

The Epson SureColor F2270 Standard Edition Printer is a professional hybrid garment printing system purpose-built for both direct-to-garment (DTG) and DTFilm printing, giving apparel decorators the flexibility to produce traditional direct-printed garments as well as transfers for a wider variety of fabrics, products, and uniquely shaped items.

At the heart of the F2270 is Epson's PrecisionCore MicroTFP printhead with Nozzle Verification Technology. The advanced printhead delivers exceptional detail, vibrant color, and consistent production performance while automatically monitoring nozzle condition to help maintain reliable print quality throughout production.

The F2270 uses Epson's next-generation UltraChrome DG2 pigment ink system with Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Black, and White inks. UltraChrome DG2 is engineered specifically for garment printing and provides vibrant color reproduction, excellent detail, and high white opacity across a wide range of cotton and cotton/polyester blend garments.

A cartridge-free bulk ink pack system uses high-capacity 800 mL ink packs to reduce the frequency of ink replacement during production. The printer accommodates six ink packs and includes a dedicated maintenance-liquid system designed to support consistent operation and simplify routine maintenance.

One of the F2270's key productivity features is automatic garment thickness adjustment. Multiple sensors measure the loaded garment and create a thickness profile, allowing the printer to automatically adjust printhead height and optimize printing without requiring the operator to manually set platen height for every garment.

The F2270 also incorporates a quick-load platen system designed to simplify garment positioning and reduce loading time. The Standard Edition includes a 14" x 16" Medium Hanger Garment Platen and Medium Garment Grip Pad, while optional platen sizes allow shops to accommodate everything from sleeves and small graphics to large 16" x 20" designs.

Operation is controlled through a large 4.3" touchscreen interface with conveniently positioned controls. A flat upper surface provides additional workspace for production items, while Epson's user-focused maintenance design incorporates dedicated cleaning-solution channels and a fabric printhead wiper system to help reduce routine maintenance requirements and printer downtime.

Included Epson Garment Creator 2 software provides an intuitive DTG and DTFilm production workflow with high-resolution image processing and tools for preparing detailed, vibrant garment graphics. The F2270 can also connect with Epson Cloud Solution PORT for compatible remote production monitoring and printer fleet management.
