Chromaline UDC-2 (Blue) Dual Cure Emulsion - 3.5 Gallon Pail
Premium blue dual-cure screen printing emulsion engineered for plastisol, water-based, discharge, UV, and solvent ink systems, delivering exceptional stencil durability, outstanding image definition, forgiving exposure latitude, and easy reclaiming.
Characteristics
Chromaline UDC-2 (Blue) Dual Cure Emulsion is one of the industry's most trusted dual-cure emulsions, designed to provide exceptional versatility across a wide range of screen printing applications. Combining the durability of a diazo-sensitized emulsion with the fast imaging characteristics of photopolymer technology, UDC-2 produces high-quality stencils capable of handling demanding production environments while maintaining outstanding image quality and long press runs. It has been Chromaline's best-selling dual-cure emulsion for decades due to its consistent performance, forgiving exposure characteristics, and reliable reclaimability.
The blue formulation provides excellent stencil contrast, making screen registration easier during setup while allowing operators to inspect image quality with greater accuracy. Medium viscosity allows smooth, even coating on virtually all mesh counts while building durable stencil thickness with excellent mesh bridging. The result is sharp line definition, clean edges, reduced sawtoothing, and outstanding detail reproduction on both textile and graphic printing applications.
UDC-2 performs exceptionally well with plastisol, water-based, discharge, UV, and solvent-based ink systems, making it an excellent all-around emulsion for shops that print multiple ink types. Its wide exposure latitude helps reduce exposure errors while producing strong, durable stencils that resist premature breakdown during long production runs. The emulsion also washes out cleanly after exposure and reclaims easily with standard stencil removers, minimizing downtime in the screen room.
Designed for professional screen printing operations, Chromaline UDC-2 offers an ideal balance of coating ease, stencil durability, exposure flexibility, and reclaim efficiency. Whether producing fine-detail graphics, halftones, textile transfers, or high-volume garment printing, UDC-2 provides dependable, repeatable results that help maximize production consistency and screen life.
